Hand-carved log, fabric, crystals, acrylic. "Simpuvium" an ancient Roman word for a sacrificial bowl in temple rituals holding the blood of sacrificed animals, before the Christian Mass replaced it. This sculpture represents women as sacred sacrificial vessels bringing life into the World/Temple as opposed to death.
